||| FROM DAVE KOSIUR for FRIENDS OF ORCAS ISLAND LIBRARY |||
The holiday spirit is returning to the library this year! The Friends of the Orcas Island Library will hold their annual Holiday Tea on Saturday, December 4, at the Orcas Island Public Library from 1 to 3 p.m.
Although we won’t be serving tea as we have in the past, we’re keeping the festive spirit alive by providing live music and offering treats with a twist. The twist is that we will have bags of cookies for people to take home rather than host a party at the library. The bags for the adults will have a tea bag attached and the ones for children will have a small candy cane.
People who want to help make this party a success can donate cookies, bringing them to the Library on Friday, December 3. For more information, contact Jane Heisinger, jlheis@rockisland.com.
Following current Covid restrictions, masks will be required in the Library.
The annual Holiday Tea by the Friends of the Orcas Island Library has been done as a “thank you” to the community for almost 60 years. The Friends of the Orcas Island Public Library is a volunteer nonprofit charitable organization.
