Registration for the 9th annual San Juan Islands Agricultural Summit is now open! From March 20 to April 16, join farmers, producers, and food system advocates to learn and discuss ways to build an equitable future for all involved in the San Juan County food system.
The virtual Summit will feature discussion panels, multi-week study groups, a roundtable talk, keynote addresses, and a movie screening, covering a range of topics at the intersection of social justice and agriculture. Engage with speakers from Viva Farms, Samish, Tulalip, Swinomish, and S’klallam tribal communities, Sylvanaqua Farms, Northwest Indian College, Black Futures Farm, Black Food Sovereignty Coalition, Yes Farm, Black Farmers Collective, and many more.
To make the Summit accessible to anyone wishing to attend, tickets are available on a sliding scale and may be shared by a farm or household. Full scholarships are also available. We are accepting applications until March 10th. Black, Indigenous, and People of Color are strongly encouraged to apply, as well as those who would otherwise not attend due to the cost.
Registration closes March 14. San Juan County residents are encouraged to register early to beat the crowds! Find registration information and meet our keynote speakers on our website.
