Did you know the largest fundraising campaign in the San Juans was on Orcas? More than 2,000 individuals and families and several organizations raised more than $18.5 million.
Twenty years ago, the community rallied to save Turtleback for future generations. But the Turtleback story started even earlier and continues today.
San Juan Preservation Trust board member, Barbara Rosenkotter, will give a presentation about this remarkable story and provide an overview of the current work of the San Juan Preservation Trust. Please join us Wednesday, June 24th at 1:00pm at the Orcas Senior Center.
