Quilt in this year’s raffle

The museum continues to attract many visitors, residents and tourists, in this shoulder season. The Patos Island Exhibit is an excellent collection of historical images and memorabilia for the iconic lighthouse on Patos Island.

The Holiday Eastsound Art Walk featured artist Kirk Troutman and was so successful that it will remain in the lobby through December. There is an art station for children to try to imitate some of Kirk’s more fun and comic drawings.

Stopping in and buying tickets for the beautiful quilt on display is a tradition for many of our supporters. The quilt this year is made by Dorothy Lundquist and quilted by Keri Stone of Island Quilting.

Be sure to visit the museum soon. It will be closed the month of January. Hours are Wednesday-Saturday, 12:00-3:00 or by appointment.  For more information, call 360-376-4849 or see orcasmuseums.org.
