Enjoy a summer evening of Reader’s Theater at Random Howse when Actor’s Theater of Orcas Island presents Deuce, by Terrence McNally, on Thursday and Friday, June 16 & 17.
Former world champion tennis players, Midge and Leona, are now in their 70s and haven’t seen each other for years. They reunite as honored guests at the US Open, and as they watch the match they reflect on their lives, pro tennis, aging, and whether it’s appropriate to let one’s nipples show through one’s tennis outfit.
Deuce is directed by Melinda Milligan and features Maura O’Neill as Leona and Elane Phipps as Midge. Additional cast includes Lisa Spesard, Aaimee Johnson, Chris Sanders, and Doug Bechtel.
Dinner from 5 p.m., show at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 at Darvill’s or at the door.
