The Orcas Island Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA) will meet at an earlier time today, at 3:30 in the school library.
The regular meeting will have reports from PTSA Officers, and additional reports from:
- OIEF
- Site Council
- School Board
- Legislative Update
- Orcas Island Prevention Partnership
- Readiness to Learn
These reports will be followed by announcements from the school principals, Kyle Freeman and Barbara Kline.
Featured presentations at this month’s meeting will be Family Literacy Month, PTSA -sponsored classes and events, including a science club, writer’s workshop and Spelling Bee.
Kline and Freeman will then discuss the Upcoming School Levy and Bond Proposals and Process.
The PTSA plans a Scholastic Book Fair and Family Reading Night at their December meeting.
