The Orcas Island Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA) will once again host a Family Reading Night on Wednesday, Dec. 2. The evet will alos Kick Off the Scholastic Book Fair, to be held in the School Library.
Family Reading Night is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. School children and parents are invited to join other PTSA members as they celebrate reading at Family Reading Night.
PTSA President Barb Skotte says, “Come in your PJs, if you’d like, bring a favorite book to read with your child, or listen to one of our guest readers (expected to include Santa and Mrs. Claus)! Light snacks will be provided, and you’ll be among the first to shop at this year’s Scholastic Book Fair!”
The Book Fair continues Thursday and Friday, Dec. 3rd and 4th, 10:00 a.m.-3 p.m. both days. All book sales support the school
