Starting October 1st – November 19th the Orcas airport will once again be collecting food for the Orcas Island Food Bank during the Second Annual Fly Washington Passport Food Drive.
Last year our airport collected 500 Lbs of food and we received this trophy for the year. If we are not the winners the trophy will have to be handed over to another airport that collected the most food.
I would like our food bank to again receive the most food collected out of all other participating airports. What an honor it was to have collected so much for our community!
Non-pilots are always welcome to drop off food to the terminal, as well as our expansive aviation community members.
