The “Plankton Soiree” is coming up October 10, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Emmanuel Church Parish Hall overlooking Indian Island!
Learn about plankton diversity and current research in the islands, and new opportunities to be part of the islands’ growing corps of volunteer “plankies” working with Kwiaht, NOAA, the University of Washington and the Tribes to understand food webs, algal blooms, climate change and ocean acidification… from a diatom’s viewpoint!
Sponsored by Kwiaht and Indian Island Marine Health Observatory.
