This Wednesday, FairVote Washington will be doing a presentation on Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) for the CRC. If you’re interested in this subject, I hope you’ll join us.
San Juan County is one of three counties in Washington State that has the option to implement RCV at this time.
I encourage folks to tune into the CRC meetings in general, and also any of the committee meetings you might be interested in. If you scroll down this web page, you’ll see the various committees, the days/times they meet and links to join the meetings. All meetings have some time for public comment, typically toward the end of the meeting.

If you’ve never participated in Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) you might want to tune into this Zoom. I belonged to a professional association that used RCV to elect its leaders and it is a very sensible process that promotes every vote counting. I recommend learning about it.
