The Friends of the Orcas Island Library will be holding their annual meeting on Thursday, September 17 at the public library.

The meeting will be preceded by a Library Open House beginning at 6:30 p.m., including refreshments. Peter Fisher, well-known photographer in the community, will be the guest speaker and will share information about the history of Madrona Point.

Board members of the Friends of the Library take this opportunity annually to thank the community for continued support of the Library by volunteering, attending fund raising activities or membership in the Friends nonprofit organization.
