Peg Manning will join the Eastsound Planning Review Committee at their regular monthly meeting today. She joins Chair Gulliver Rankin, and fellow members Bob Connell, Clyde Duke, Patty Miller and Fred Klein. Two positions on the board are now open: that of Miller, who leaves Dec. 10 in advance of taking the Orcas East seat on the County Council, and Audrey Moreland, who has resigned.
The agenda includes a report form County Councilman Richard Fralick on the budget, solid waste disposal, and the Critical Areas Ordinance.
Approval of a letter to the County Council requesting moving the Eastsound Sub-area Plan from the County Comprehensive Plan into the Uniform Development Code, review of the Nov. 18 EPRC Open House and a development checklist being crafted by Clyde Duke and Bob Connell will be discussed by the planning group. They will also review two projects: the conditional use permit for the Russell Clinic and the temporary permit for the Deer Harbor Charter kiosk in Eastsound.
The EPRC will then identify its priorities for 2011 and begin preparations for a presentation to the County Council in 2011.
