FRIDAY HARBOR, Wash. – The PeaceHealth Peace Island Family Practice clinic is holding flu shot clinics in the month of October for established PeaceHealth patients aged six months and older.
Clinics are scheduled Tuesday, Oct. 3, and Tuesday, Oct. 10, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the conference room next to the clinic lobby. Patients must make an appointment in advance by calling 360-378-1756.
Additional clinics may be scheduled later in the month, based on vaccine supplies.
The clinic has regular flu vaccine as well as the high-dose vaccine for people 65 and over. Patients with egg allergies can request the egg-free FluBlok vaccine at registration. PeaceHealth patients also have the option of getting the vaccine at their next primary care
provider visit.
At this time the clinic does not have available doses of either the COVID-19 or RSV vaccines on hand. Patients may check with the local pharmacy, Friday Harbor Drug, on whether they have inventory. They may be contacted by phone at 360-378-4421.
