— from PeaceHealth Northwest —
To protect the health of our patients and caregivers as the number of confirmed novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases increases in the Northwest, PeaceHealth has implemented voluntary visitation restrictions at our Northwest Washington and Alaska hospitals.
Visitors:
For the safety of our patients, family and caregivers, PeaceHealth is limiting access to the hospital to 1 to 2 essential visitors per patient. These restrictions will remain in place until further notice.
Patients:
PeaceHealth asks that patients call ahead before arriving at any PeaceHealth facility if they meet both of the following:
- Have recently traveled outside the United States or have been in contact with a person known to have COVID-19
AND
- Have symptoms including fever or upper respiratory infection symptoms (i.e. cough).
This process allows us to create a care plan that ensures the safety of our patients and caregivers.
Our clinics may be experiencing higher than usual call volumes. Patients who are experiencing a medical emergency should call 911.
Thank you for your help in keeping our patients, visitors and caregivers safe and healthy.
