Adult Activities –

Adult Soccer – With the warmer weather adult soccer is moving outdoors. Come out and play Sundays from 3:00 – 5:00 at Buck Park. No signup needed, just drop by and join the game. Ages 16 and up.

Adult Volleyball – Volleyball is continuing in the K8 gym on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 – 9:30. We have begun planning for revitalizing the outdoor sand field at Buck Park and hope to have a great playing area by the summer. No signup needed, just drop in. Ages 16 and up.

Baseball and Softball teams are practicing at Buck Park and the fields behind the high school. For a taste of summer come out and watch a game on Saturdays.

We have two more spring environmental walks with Carolyn Cruso. The May 16th youth walk (3:30 – 5:30 at Moran State Park) investigates life in the soil and nature journaling. This is a great opportunity to add a field trip to your home schooling or OASIS program or to just learn something new about the island forest we live in.

The May 16th Adult Naturalist walk meets at 10AM in Moran State Park and will include investigations of the island ecosystems including some ethnobotany. This is an excellent chance to add a new layer of knowledge to your hikes around the lake. Signups for both outings are on the Park & Rec website or call 376-7275 for more information.

Hope you enjoy the warmer spring weather and have a chance to get out and play.
