Roadway surveying, staking, and excavation have started at the Orcas Park and Ride project. Crews are in the process of stripping and stockpiling topsoil for later use on site.
Site activities will be limited the week of May 8 – 12. After topsoil is stockpiled and excavatable material have been removed, the contractor will begin rock breaking.
Utility relocation activities will continue on Orcas Hill Road. Century Link is scheduled to have contractors onsite relocating fiber lines near the construction entrance. Traffic control will be on site as necessary, please drive slowly.
