From 1991-2008 many island families participated in a parent/child playgroup facilitated by Kathi Ciskowski. Although the people and venues changed, the basic activity format remained the same for all groups.
On Sat., May 16 from 12:30-2 pm at the new Benson Hall on the waterfront in Eastsound, there will be a gathering for all of the parents (and children are invited too) who participated in the group.
Bread will be formed and baked and a meal shared together. Pictures and stories of the children will be shared as well. Family connections that began in the group can be honored.
Participants are asked to bring a salad to go with the bread. Also bring your penny jar from home to combine with others to divide equally among the four local preschools. Coins only!
