Painting class on Orcas, with outdoor (oil) landscape painter Mark Bistranin: 3 days in July, 8,9,10 OR July 9,10,11.
Teaching will also relate or transfer, to acrylics. All levels welcome.
Mixing color, developing values within composition, etc. and the day will begin with a demonstration. Approximate hours: 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. We may begin earlier for good light.
Work with a minimal palette — approximately six colors to begin. Also begin with smaller canvases. Mark suggests French easel if at all possible. Materials list to be announced next week.
