The following is a message from School Nurse, Iris Gravile, regarding an upcoming H1N1 Immunization Clinic at the school this coming Friday, Nov. 6th.  Participation is voluntary.  A mailing with further information and consent forms went out on Friday and should arrive shortly.

“Vaccine to protect K-12 students from novel H1N1 Influenza A will be offered at the school on Friday, November 6, beginning at 8:30 a.m., by staff from San Juan County Health and Community Services.  Please watch for a mailing that includes information and a consent form.  Your child may also be able to get this vaccine from his/her doctor/healthcare provider, or at San Juan County Health and Community Services.  Vaccination is voluntary and free at the school clinics.   Please note:  the Health Department has experienced some delays in receiving vaccine.  If that should happen next week, this clinic would need to be rescheduled.  We will post a notice as soon as we know of any changes.”
