Orcas PTSA invites you to their annual Back to School Barbecue this Friday, September 20th, coinciding with the opening night of Friday Roller Skating. This free barbecue will be in the middle school outdoor commons area. Orcas PTSA will provide hot dogs with all the fixings, lemonade, and brownies. Please bring a side dish to share, (no chips please). Skating follows in the Middle School gym from 6-8pm. The cost for skating is $5.00 for the night with a maximum of $12.00 for a family.
In other news, the Orcas PTSA membership drive is in full swing. Becoming a member is a fantastic way to support students and faculty at the Orcas School District while enabling Orcas PTSA to host events like the Back to School Barbeque, roller skating, staff appreciation week and much more. Membership is just $10 per year. You can sign up at the barbeque Friday, at the elementary school office, or by downloading an application from orcasptsa.org.
