Fun in the yard at the Montessori School

Orcas Montessori School is enrolling students for the upcoming school year and is hosting an open house on Saturday, March 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. We invite you to bring your child and your questions and explore the classroom, the curriculum, and the benefits of the Montessori method.
“The Montessori classroom offers children a wealth of hands-on activities,” explains school director Teresa Chocano. “Each activity is presented individually and in keeping with each child’s needs and abilities, under observation of a trained guide.”
Founded in 1988, Orcas Montessori School serves children ages 2 and ½ to 6 years who are potty trained. The school is located at 1147 North Beach Road in Eastsound.
