A Community Seed & Plant Exchange will take place this Sunday, Feb. 21 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the West Sound Community Hall.

Who should attend:

  • Anyone with extra seed or plants/bulbs/tubers/etc. (any) to share (Labeled containers or envelopes please.  Note either “purchased” or “saved” seed.).
  • People with nothing to exchange, wanting to acquire seed/plant material/knowledge
  • Anyone generally interested in seed saving

Please bring a pen, envelopes, bags, and baggies to donate and use.

Schedule:

  • 2:00 – 2:45 Deliver Donated Items & View Offerings, Music & Introductions
  • 2:45 – 3:00 Swapping Etiquette
  • 3:00 – 5:00 Open exchange & Music
  • 5:00 – Open Discussion

Growing and sharing seeds builds community and promotes diversity on all levels.  Seed saving is one of the most important things you can do for yourself and others. Thank you so much for promoting open pollinated seeds and our community.
