The Orcas Island School District Board of Education is accepting applications for a School Director to fulfill an unexpired term for Position # 2 (click here for boundaries). This position expires on 11/30/2025. To be eligible for appointment, applicants must be registered voters and reside within the boundaries of the Orcas Island School District. The School Board meets the fourth Tuesday of each month for regular meetings. Interested parties should submit an application online at this link or mail to Board Chair, Greg White, c/o Orcas Island School District #137, 557 School Road, Eastsound, Washington 98245 no later than 5 p.m. April 17, 2025. Interviews of qualified candidates will take place at the regular meeting on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
