Orcas Island School Board has a vacancy

The Orcas Island School District Board of Education is accepting applications for a School Director to fulfill an unexpired term for Position # 5 (At-Large). This position expires on 11/30/2027. To be eligible for appointment, applicants must be registered voters and reside within the boundaries of the Orcas Island School District.

The School Board meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month for regular meetings. Interested parties should submit an application online at https://forms.gle/aapeF4a9cD9CWqWe9 or mail to Board Vice Chair, Stefan Maxfield, c/o Orcas Island School District #137, 557 School Road, Eastsound, Washington 98245 no later than 5 pm on Friday, January 23, 2026.
