As Lent begins—a season of reflection and preparation leading up to Easter—churches around Orcas Island are coming together for evenings of prayer, fellowship, and soup dinners.
Beginning next week, all are invited to gather for a time of prayer at 5:30 pm, followed by a shared soup dinner at 6:00 pm. These gatherings offer an opportunity for spiritual renewal and connection with neighbors across the island.
The schedule and locations are as follows:
- March 12 – Orcas Island Community Church
- March 19 – Emmanuel Episcopal
- March 26 – Catholic Church
- April 2 – Lutheran Congregation (held at Emmanuel Episcopal)
- April 9 – Adventist Community
Everyone is welcome to participate, regardless of background or tradition. Come for prayer, stay for a warm meal, as we journey through Lent together.
