Music in the Park July 3rd at 12:30 p.m.

The Orcas Horns, the island’s premier party group, presents a free dance concert in the Village Green Park immediately following the Independence Day Parade.  The band will perform America’s best dance music featuring hits from the R&B, Motown, Jazz and Soul charts.

You will hear the music of Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Paul Simon, James Brown, Herbie Hancock, Average White Band, Joe Cocker, Maceo Parker, Tower of Power, and The Blues Brothers.  The Orcas Horns is band of local musicians featuring Gene Nery on vocals and guitar, Tony Morales on drums, Martin Lund on keyboards and woodwinds, Bruce Russell on bass, Steve Alboucq on trumpet, Emily Miner on saxophone, Dimitri Stankevich on trombone, Gregory Books on baritone saxophone and our newest member Jade Ismail on trombone.
