From the Orcas Island Historical Museum

If you happen to have missed the highly praised exhibit “A Taste of Orcas History” at the Orcas Center during the month of February, all is not lost!

The full exhibit (minus the photos by Peter Fisher) is now on display in the Main Hall and Entrance Hall of the Orcas Museum on North Beach Road in Eastsound.

Come to the next History Matinee featuring Cal McLachlan at Orcas Senior Center on March 18th and receive a free pass good until the end of May.  There are many photographs and interesting historical panels that had never been displayed before the show at the Orcas Center.

At this time of year the Orcas Museum is open Saturdays only from 11am to 4pm.  Stay tuned for more detailed information on the next monthly History Matinee.  Have questions?  Call the OIHM office on weekdays at 376-4849.
