“Orcas Has Talent” competition is open to talents of all kinds, from high school students to adults.

This year’s supportive judges Susan Osborn, Gene Nery and Bob Shipstad will award the top eight acts their “Golden Ticket,” which  entitles them to compete at the “Orcas Has Talent” Finale Show at Orcas Center on Feb. 9, where they hope to win votes of the audience and take home the grand prize of $500.

The always amazing Orcas Has Talent, Jr. competition is open to youths in grades five to eight and will be held in the afternoon this Saturday, Jan. 19,  at 2 p.m. at the Grange. A first and second place will will be chosen and the 1st place winner will receive $50. cash prize and have the choice to either perform for the Finale Show on Feb. 9 at the Orcas Center OR compete against the adults and grab the grand prize of $500.!

Tickets are sold at the door of the Grange. Orcas Has Talent Junior Show: $5.00; Auditions: $10.00.

General admission tickets for the Feb. 9 Orcas Has Talent Finale will be on sale at Darvill’s Bookstore starting Jan. 21.

Great fun for a great cause, all proceeds to benefit Orcas Island Prevention Coalition.
