The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and San Juan County recently completed an agreement that will allow the local Detachment to use the former fuel attendant building at the Orcas ferry landing to be used as a central location to store training materials, PFDs for the life jacket loaner program and safety brochures.
The Detachment will also be using the dock for courtesy Vessel Safety Checks.
