Knowing your care partner is in good hands and enjoying themselves in a safe environment, will give you the peace of mind to take a few hours for yourself. The Orcas Lions Club, with support from the Orcas Senior Center, is now offering Partners in Care, a family caregiver support program.
Every Monday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, at the Orcas Senior Center, trained volunteers along with a certified caregiver, provide meaningful and fun engagement in socialization, games, craft projects, music and more. Lunch is provided ($6.00 to Senior Center) and the program is by donation.
Now in our fifth month we would like to add a few new participants to the program. Space is limited so if you think you and your care partner could benefit, please call or email to discuss:
