The Cake has all the ingredients of good theatre: a well-written play, extremely talented actors, fine director, and excellent production crew with sets, lights, backstage support. And it’s right here on Orcas Island! The cast is a close ensemble, and each actor brings tremendous skill and honesty to the character they portray. The sets, lighting, and props are extremely well done. Behind the scenes crew is on top of every detail. And then, there are the fabulous cakes, one of which is shared with the audience, in the lobby after each show. Great thanks to Orcas Center for presenting this delightful community theatre event.
