The Orcas Center for the Performing and Visual Arts seeks applications for the position of Executive Director. Orcas Center boasts an extraordinary facility and arts community dedicated to theater, music, dance, and visual arts through performances, classes, outreach programs, gallery exhibitions, and special events.
The Executive Director is the Center’s chief operating officer, responsible for financial management (annual budget of approximately $500,000), donor development, fundraising, staff and volunteer supervision, facility management, and public and Board relations.
In addition to proven leadership, management skills, and experience at creating effective teams, the successful candidate will have passion for community involvement in the performing and visual arts. Knowledge of and a feeling for the Orcas Community would be desirable.
