11/19/09 Outage Update:
8:45 a.m.- OPALCO line crews worked throughout the night to restore power. Power has been fully restored to Shaw, Lopez and Crane Islands. The West side of San Juan Island continues to be without power due to heavy wind damage, this includes the Mt. Dallas, Little Road, Snug Harbor, Carefree, Yacht Haven and Smugglers Cove areas. Estimated time for restoration is approximately noon today. Orcas has had outage reports on Mt. Constitution. The crew is aware of these issues and will be addressing them. Call 360-376-3500 for updated phone messages.
Before calling to report an outage, please check your fuses or circuit breakers at the electrical panel and check with neighbors to see if their power is out.
