In cooperation with the Port of Orcas, Orcas Island Fire & Rescue will be conducting an “all hazards” emergency response drill this Thursday, August 7 from 6:00 p.m. until approximately 8:00 p.m. The drill is designed to maintain and improve our response abilities in EMS, fire, and rescue.
As a result, you may notice OIFR vehicles and personnel on and around the Eastsound Airport property during the drill. We anticipate no interruptions of normal airport activities.
