The Orcas Island Community Foundation (OICF) received great national recognition recently in an article focused on the Foundation’s support of affordable housing posted on Inside Philanthropy. (You can read the article here).
OICF’s efforts locally are helping to expand the role of community foundations across the country. Access to housing remains a high priority for OICF and we will be working with OPAL Community Land Trust throughout 2019 to gather the funding needed to complete the April’s Grove project.
