As the colder months approach, the Severe Weather Shelter at Orcas Island Community Church is preparing to open its doors once again — offering a safe, warm place for those in need during dangerously cold nights.
We’re looking for volunteers to help make this vital ministry possible. Whether you can stay overnight, help with setup, provide meals, or assist with coordination, every helping hand makes a difference.

At this meeting, we’ll go over shelter operations, volunteer roles, and how you can get involved this season.
