A free workshop, in which Deborah Sparks will provide an overview of writing and performing a monologue, has been rescheduled to Monday, April 27 at 6:30 in the OffCenter Stage.

Orcas Center will present original monologues to be read/performed for Monologue Night on Friday, June 12 on the OffCenter Stage. Monologues must be written in the first person and present the character’s encounter with a work of art or artistic experience.

Monologues must be submitted by May 25, 2009 and cannot be more than three minutes long when performed. Please send your submission in by email to sparks@orcascenter.org. Writers will be asked to rewrite their work if it is not written in monologue form.
