Join SAFE San Juans (formerly DVSAS) at our free public events on Orcas Island during Domestic Violence Action Month in October:
- Walk among the Silent Witnesses on the Village Green. Each witness represents a man, woman, or child killed in Washington this year by a family member or partner.
- Visit our book display at the Orcas Library.
- October 8, 2 p.m, Emmanuel Episcopal Church – Attend a staged reading of original play “Carried by the Current.” Meet the director and writer. Ages 12+.
- October 19, 12 p.m., Village Green – Participate in our Silent Witness vigil for domestic violence victims and their families.
