An old guy, then 17 from Anchorage: watching the 131’s come in to Elmondorf from earthquake park.
My mom would say “go out there and think about that”.
These aircraft were full of our fallen soilders.
I am thinking today about her and them.
And those who continue.

“Angel Flight”, forgot that one.
Elmendorf was a refuel stop for us (C141’s). Land, hustle (really cold!) us into the EM? club for a few quick beers back on. Next stop Kadena, Okinawa,,,off, drink, on then last leg.
First trip read Exodus cover to cover, couldn’t sleep.
