In a jam-packed, standing room only ceremony filling Emmanuel Parish Hall on Saturday, several of the Orcas Alternative Student Initiated Studies (OASIS) high school graduates thanked their OASIS teachers for making it “Impossible to fail.”

The ceremony, in OASIS’ fourth year, honored those students who have passed Washington State and OASIS High School graduation requirements, or passed the five tests to complete the General Education Development (GED) certificate.

Andrew Vodros, who passed his GED tests in December, is now preparing to enter a four-year college in West Virginia. Brittany DuFour, is currently in Alaska preparing to entering the national Job Corps.
