Northwest Ballet Theatre and award-winning choreographer John Bishop bring to life Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula with riveting dramatic performances combined with ballet elegance and grace.
Bram Stoker’s compelling story of Count Dracula has drawn curious audiences for over a century. Although Stoker did not invent the vampire, he defined its modern form and his 1876 gothic horror novel has spawned numerous theatrical, film and television interpretations.
Created as a two-act ballet, award-winning choreographer John Bishop brings to life the Irish author’s novel with riveting, elegant dance performances. Bishop’s Dracula is a visually lavish production with gothic sets and ‘steam punk’-style costuming.
On the heels of its premiere at Mount Baker Theatre, Northwest Ballet Theatre tours Dracula to Orcas Center. Tickets are reduced $19, $11 (students)

Here is a review of NBT’s Dracula
https://www.ennw.info/2013/10/13/bloody-good-show-2/ Hope the folks on Orcas Island can all come out and see 2013’s final performance of Dracula!
I saw this fabulous ballet here in Bellingham and I can’t say enough wonderful things about it. See it if you can. You won’t be disappointed. It’s more dramatic than most ballets I’ve seen and the dancing and acting are just superb. I particularly liked the 2nd act pas de deux.
