The San Juan County Republican Party will be having its annual Lincoln Day Event on three islands: a light luncheon on Orcas Island at the American Legion Post #93 on the 25th of March, and dinners at Lopez at Islander Resort on the 31st and on San Juan Island at the Brickworks on the 1st. Our speaker this year will be Mr. Herbert Meyer, former senior member of the Central Intelligence Agency under the Reagan Administration. He is widely credited with being the first person to predict the fall of the Soviet Union and is a popular speaker nationwide.
SJC Republican Party Chairman Nathan Butler will be present at all of the events, as will State Committeeman Rick Boucher. Vice Chair Lynda Gerpheide will attend on Lopez, Secretary Minnie Knych on Friday Harbor, and State Committeewoman Cindy Carter on Orcas. Come express your concerns and hopes in person.
