Nothing Like an Orcas Parade

Orcas has often been referred to as the “parade island,” as we never miss an opportunity to dress up, be silly, and walk the streets of Eastsound.

This year as always, Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce sponsored the yearly Fourth of July event that featured a fun variety of parade entrants, all celebrating the theme ‘There’s No Place Like Home’. Music from the Community Band accompanies parade entries as they march past parade announcers Ken and Karen Key Speck.
