Our guest rooms have been remodeled, our indoor swimming pool rebuilt, and our new kitchen is now open. returning it to its original location in the historic Moran Mansion. The upcoming phase of the Master Plan will be the construction of the Mansion Annex, a complimenting addition to the historic Moran Mansion featuring new spa facilities, guest rooms and additional dining.
San Juan County has approved the Rosario Resort Master Plan for redevelopment which preserves Moran’s legacy and renews resort operations for the enjoyment of our community and visitors for Rosario’s next one hundred years.
The goals of the Rosario Master Plan are:
1. Re-Establish Rosario as the Northwest’s preeminent island retreat.
2. Preserve, restore, and enhance what is most unique and cherished about Rosario, especially natural features and the works of Robert Moran
3. Protect and enhance the Resort’s natural environment and context.
4. Maximize the Resort’s long-term viability.
