As you are probably aware by now, Liz Lovelett of Anacortes was appointed last month as our new state senator. In an effort to get to know us, she will be appearing at the San Juan County Democrats meeting Saturday, March 9. This will be a regular business meeting, but Liz will have some time to introduce herself and answer questions.
If you would like to attend, we will be meeting in the community room of Skagit Valley College at 11:45 in Friday Harbor. You don’t need to bring your car if you let me know that you would like to attend, as I will make sure we have enough drivers in Friday Harbor to accommodate us in getting to the meeting and back to the ferry.

Unfortunately, I just heard from Senator Lovelett, and she is involved in too many bills and there is too much going on in Olympia right now for her to get home this weekend. As a result, she will most likely not be able to attend our meeting. I know that she will try to make it another time. Thanks.
