Jane Alden will be teaching a workshop for adults on Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” on Mondays for 8 weeks beginning September 24 through November 12, in the library conference room from 1-2:30 pm.
This is the fourth workshop focusing on a Shakespeare play from the point of view of the theatre director and performer that Alden has taught in the last year. This approach to these works has proven to be extraordinarily enlivening and effective in helping participants to connect with the works on a personal level and to get a fresh perspective on and appreciation of plays with which they may already have some familiarity.
Cost for the 8 sessions is $65.00. The class is limited to 10 participants. Please sign up at the library to reserve a space or email Jane at: jalden43@centurylink.net
