Anne Auckland is the new Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) for the Orcas Island School District. She is excited to be here.
Anne has been an SLP for 18 years. During that time, she has primarily worked as an SLP in schools as she loves getting to work kids and team with teachers, staff, and parents. Her experiences in the school setting have provided her with the opportunity to work with students in preschool through High school in a variety of programs and classrooms, such as Life Skills, Preschool, Resource, ELL, Autism and Emotional-Behavior programs.
In addition to working in the schools she spent three years working in a Birth to 3 program.
She and her family – husband and two kids – moved to Lopez Island two years ago. They love living in the San Juans. As a child, she and her family spent time boating up in the islands. Away from work, Anne spends time with family and friends, enjoying outdoor activities and reading when she has the chance.
