This is the weekend the Washington State Ferry system begins the new Fall Sailing Schedule on Sunday, September 22, accompanied by new fares. The latest Sailing Schedule is also always available by clicking the link in the right-hand sidebar on Orcas Issues.

The full ferry fares are available online. Basic ferry fares are as follows:

Passenger

  • Adult (age 19 – 64) $12.45
  • Senior / Disabled (age 65 & over) $6.20
  • Youth (age 6 – 18) $10.00

Vehicle, Motorcycle, and Stowage Fares

  • Vehicle Under 14′ & Driver (less than 168”) $38.75
  • Vehicle Under 22′ & Driver (standard veh) $48.30
  • Vehicle U14′ & Sr/Disabled Driver (less than 168″) $32.50
  • Vehicle U22′ & Sr/Disabled Driver (standard veh) $42.05

A Traffic Advisory is also issued for this weekend for the Annual Oyster Run in Anacortes on Sunday, September 22:

The Annual Oyster Run motorcycle rally occurs this Sunday, Sept 22, in Anacortes. Motorists can expect large volumes of motorcycles and loading delays throughout the weekend. In Anacortes, motorcyclists must stay in the vehicle queue until through the tollbooth. In Friday Harbor, motorcyclists may bypass the vehicle queue. On Orcas, the first 20 motorcycles will be loaded on both 8:50am and 12:20pm sailings if in line 60 minutes in advance. Others will be loaded on a first-come, first-served basis. From Lopez, 10 motorcycles will be loaded on both the 7:30am and 9:35am sailings, if in line 60 minutes in advance. Others will be loaded on a first-come, first-served basis.
