Clarity Connection, LLC, a management and human resources consulting and coaching firm opened in late 2011 announced the launch of a new mental health therapy arm of the business.  Run by Orcas Island residents Denise Wolf and James Wolf, Clarity Connection specializes in services to improve management skills and employee competencies. The consulting branch is led by James; the therapy arm is led by Denise; and James and Denise share the coaching responsibilities depending on the client’s needs.

“Seeing the close relation of management consulting to coaching, and equally the relation of coaching to mental health therapy,” said Clarity Connection principal, James Wolf, “we determined that through our unique combination of business executive experience, education, and transition work with individuals we could offer services in all three areas.“

Denise Wolf, a Licensed Mental Health Associate Therapist, previously held senior executive positions and partnered with people to work through their challenges or clarify and step closer to their purpose. “I have had the privilege to support a variety of people as they faced moving through the different chapters in their lives. I specialize in partnering with individuals who are struggling to break through the barriers that prevent them from living better lives. Because people have different transportation and time limitations I offer on-line video or in-person therapy and coaching sessions.”

A former executive in the pharmaceutical and retail industries, James Wolf focuses on general management and human resources consulting along with individual business coaching.  “Most businesses throughout the San Juan Islands can’t afford to employ a dedicated human resources staff, but all could benefit from outside expertise from time-to-time,” said James Wolf.  “My goal is to be the HR department for these businesses and for those that do have their own HR staff, to augment the function with seasoned expertise.”

Clarity Connection, LLC is located on Orcas Island, and primarily serves the businesses and individuals of San Juan County.
