||| FROM ALICIA WIGFIELD for ORCAS ISLAND COMMUNITY CHURCH |||
Our community is stronger when we come together to support our neighbors. The Neighbor to Neighbor Shelter is preparing for another season of serving community members who are experiencing difficult circumstances, and we are looking for caring individuals who would like to be involved.
You are invited to join us for an informational meeting on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in the Church Fellowship Hall.
This meeting will be an opportunity to learn more about the shelter, the services we provide, and the many ways volunteers can help. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available, and we welcome anyone who would like to give their time, share their talents, or simply learn more about how they can make a difference.
Whether you have volunteered before or are considering volunteering for the first time, we would be delighted to meet with you. Your support can help provide encouragement, hope, and practical assistance to community members in need.
Please join us and invite a friend, family member, church member, or neighbor who may be interested in getting involved. Together, we can continue building a caring and supportive community.
